Needed activities, not necessarily in order:
Write and edit chunks of the Y1 Final Report
Work on "Comparison of Methods" Paper
Work on stimulus funds grants
Plan SL workshops for student activities, groups in SL, recruiting, etc.
Get some student/interest groups started
Plan new SIM
Plan fall publicity
Plan fall newsletter
Get list of courses for the Estate for summer and fall

Here's the link to the NSF grant that I mentioned in yesterday's meeting:

It probably needs a PI with previous NSF awards, a history of grants and an interest in virutal worlds. I have the last two, but not the first. The people I know with the first usually have the second but not the third.
Do we want to for a group to apply or is this too far afield for us right now?

Because of the world economic problems, we need to organize proactively to support educational technology, especially inexpensive forms like Second Life. This network is part of that attempt. What are our next steps? --RBS
